| Pfunk..uncut funk..da' bomb..what's left to say. I saw my 1st PFunk concert in Philly 1975. I was 14 and I witnessed Mother's Finest, Bootsy's Rubber Band and Parliament Funkadelic. My older brother took me and I smoked my 1st "joint"..my 1st 4 big fattys. I've been hooked err since. Uncle G thanks fo' lettin me party witchall over the years. The party continues in Philly..fly on..fly on!!!!! I 'll have da' sticky gooeey hydro at the next show..holla!! |

Just imagine..20,000 seat arena, the lights go out, errbody goes apeshit n the entire bldg blazes up a big fat joint. They get passed around n even the Ushers r gettin' stoned. Whistles r bein blown..the crowd chants "make my funk the p-funk"...n then..u hear(boom-boom-boom)da foot of Jerome Bigfoot Brailey. I lose my mind n my addiction began! |

| Back in the day when things were Kool and there was "real music" we had the Kool Jazz Festivals where you could see ten bands for twelve dollars. P-Funk headlined but lets give props to Bootsy's Rubberband, Bar-Kays, ConFunkShun, Cameo, Slave, Zapp, Gap Band, Graham Central Station, Maze, Midnight Starr, Ohio Players, Dazz Band, and the list goes on!!! I was in Oakland CA during the live recording of the P-Funk Earth Tour album. If You Got Funk, You Got Style...Put Your Foot on the Rock!!! |
