quite possibly i agree, this is the best pop song ever written. just perfection. i don't think even the Beatles could match the perfection of this song. the music, lyrics, absolute sheer magic. the way it builds up to the chorus and then the rising finale. Just awesome!

Reminds me of a drunken taxi journey, on the Isle Of Skye, about 18 years ago... Driver nearly put us out in the middle of nowhere because of this song, lol, was rather amusing at the time, but i suppose, you had to be there! :-)
