You are a joke! Keep hoping for your independence because it's not going to happen. I'm part Taiwanese and I can't stand seeing other Taiwanese licking Americans' ass or thinking that they are Japanese. I might not know much about my own heritage, but I've seen many Taiwanese looking down at the Mainlanders as if they were some type of plague or animal. It's sad to see 'my OWN' people hating on 'their OWN' people. Wake up and love yourself!

What US military base in Kaohsiung? What are you talking about? Stop making up stuff! Lol. In 1979, when the US recognized PRC as the sole legal government of China (Taiwan part of China/One China), it terminated its Mutual Defense Treaty with Taiwan. However, they were still selling weapons to Taiwan, but the US also stated that they weren't seeking for a long term weapons selling policy. Hence, Taiwan's "protection" is under China...truth hurts, huh?

Hey loser, your "if" is pointless. As I wrote before, U.S TERMINATED their Mutual Defense Treaty with Taiwan in 1979. If they ended that agreement, the U.S can't legally accept any military defense offer from Taiwan or vice-versa. Therefore, any diplomatic or military relationship between the US and Taiwan is NOT acceptable (illegal)! Capiche??

Who the hell are you to tell me that I don't qualify to be part Taiwanese? My granfather and my father served the Taiwanese military. My paternal grandparents were buried in Taiwanese soil. Taiwanese was the first dialect/language I was exposed to (not Spanish, English, or Cantonese). I 'huei Taiwan' almost every summer vacation since I was 7. I love congee with sweet potatoes. I know the zhuyin fuhao (Bopomofo) since I was 5. I love my "Taiwanese" blood, HENCE, I love my Han Chinese blood.

Well... I agree with you about war is not a toy and I am totally against it. However, if you're saying that Taiwan had never left the motherland than why are you ppl always complaining and so against about the high officials from China visiting Taiwan. I saw some videos on here which showed uncivilize taiwanese knocking the guy to the ground. I don't want war and I do seek for peace... it would be nice see ppl in Taiwan think like u.
