morning memories video scene is especially well edited. There are 9,320 inhabitants (2001) most of whom live in the largest town, Chora on the west coast. It is believed that the island was named after a local hero, who is considered an offspring of the god Apollo and was worshipped locally in antiq
uity.

Thanks Frances. Is that the first or second T-Shirt on the rack? If it is the 2nd ..that's indeed where he hangs out. Zorba's infamous saloon. His name is Zorba De Tshirtmann. We think he might be German or Dutch and not a true child of Zeus.

Hmmmm - interesting. I must admit this video is a good advert. The water and sky are very blue, and tempting.The ferries are fast but not, I suspect, as fast as Zorba De Tshirtman!! Still I suppose we could teach the minah bird how to sing Leonard's Closing Time!!
