Video Description:
I didn't edit this. Music video of the 40th anniversary of the Blue Angels, featuring the song "Dreams" by Van Halen. The only thing I have done to this is some tweaking on the end graphic, cropping out the bad VHS tracking on the bottom, adding some stills at the beginning to make up for what did not get recorded originally on my Emerson VHS deck, and replaced the song with a fresh MP3. Other than that, it is all as it appeared on MTV 20 years ago.

I think the A-4s are my favourite, too. When I was a kid they were in F-4, which always seemed huge. I like the Hornets pretty good, too, but those Skyhawks were cool.

Back when I was a lil girl, I used to stop whatever I was doing when I heard this song come on on MTV... I'd sit down and just watch this video, and I'd cry when the song was over. My dream ended up to become a pilot in the Navy and join the Blue Angels... needless to say, in 6th grade when I had to get my first pair of glasses, I was heartbroken and my first dream of what I wanted to become when I grew up was lost... I'll always love this video though.

This is the BEST! From the best time in my life. I was going out with Pat Walsh the number 3 wingman when they made this video. So many memories that I love! I went to Miramar and other bases and it was the time of my life. I love a man in the uniform!

Hell yes, they are. I'd give anything to fly with them as the squadron's one Marine Corps pilot, but by the time my enlistment is over and I finish undergrad (college degree required to become an officer - only officers can fly jets), I'll be too old to enter OCS.
