Video made for a friend of mine but brought to you also...it has a wacky music alongside...because the fight is also wacky...when 10 times bigger force crushes against 641 spartans...it is a fight not only for life and death, but a fight for the history books lol The fight is interesting and definitely in the catagory got to see...but video resolution is a bit poor

| I suggest you read a history book instead of watching 300. 6th century spartans wore chest plates called a thorax. By the 5th century used linen armour for maneuverability. 4th they used no armour. Please don't try to correct me again. |

| which cultures archaeological evidence? since the little we have found pertaining to sparta is from other sources, the spartans had a very very small number of buildings with any sense of permanence. Basically the whole city was one large conglomeration of wood and mud huts with no wall and no outstanding features. I think you are thinking of the another Greek state possibly Corinth which was allied to Sparta |

However, if there were archers in the battlefielt, which there weren't in this video, this formation would only have sence if you had a back-up army in the middle like Legionaries who can do the testudo-formation or archers as a counteratack against the archers to lower damage to your spartans. ;] |
