If, as you claim should be, America forgoes it's moral allies in this war against the fundamentals it will be the beginning of America's downfall. Terrorists don't hate America because it helps Israel. Terrorists hate America because America is the land of freedom.
As for the war in Iraq, it is the Islamic totalitarianism that attacked America first, not the other way around. Saying Iraq is the reason for the hate is chronically impossible.
I disagree. The politics involved in middle eastern conflict have changed back and forth throughout the years. The fact that the conflict has been going on for as long as it has means precisely that it is one caused by lifestyle and fundamental issues such as freedom & human rights vs fundamentalism and religious fanaticism of the Arab world.
Suffice to say America has a right to self defense. I don't necessarily support all actions that America has taken, but the actions I oppose to are caused by the fact America is plagued by left wing ideas which disarm it from properly defending itself and standing up for it's beliefs.
Along with the unbridled growth of big government the individuals ability to use "common sense" has been discouraged to a point that many institutions regard it as a myth. I think putting a limit to government spending of 10% GDP would be a good start to holding them responsible for their excesse
