It really looks like a 3rd world city.The communist past is still predominant and the political and social tensions are a constant danger. I would go there only as a member of KFOR on my way to Kosovo.This place is a disgrace for Europe.

Most of the Macedonians are direct descendants of the ancient one, and just a small part of them have Slav origin. For bigger disappointment for the Greeks, iGenea reveals that only 32 % of the Greeks have Hellenic, Macedonian, even Arabic origin. Other 31 % of the Greeks have Celt, 12 % German and Slav, and 11 % have Illyrian origin. For the Albanians and the opposite from their believes iGenea says that they have the smallest percent of Illyrian origin.
