When you have conquered a country like Greece you can do what you want even enter in the olympic games. Macedonians are not greeks & never were dont claim the history of you enemies. No need to lie about History to keep the land you stole from Macedonia so leave the Macedonian history to the Macedonians.

Alexandros I was the first and back then macedonians wheren't powerful nor fought the other Greeks. Come on little Slav that's the best you can do?

It's so simple. Macedonia was a Hellenistic nation in northern Greece when it was created. The country called Macedonia today is a slavic nation, they just stole the name from ancient Macedonia. I wish they were a bit more original than that, but whatever....

Are you kidding? Even if all these things are true, it would take a man with enormous capabilities and stamina to achieve what Alexander had done with with such limited resources. An analogy would be like Bush (your uninspirational leader) and a vast superpower such as the USA being conquered by

It doesnt matter what you think,I travel a lot in business,all over asia and middle east,and after 2400 years ,he commands tremendous respect,in Afghanistan,he is known as Iskander,,Pakistan/India he is Sikander,as well as the mideast....because he for the first time united the known world,and people from various proud afghan tribes all claim to be descended from his soldiers.He was a GREAT man,so was Darius a good ruler and adminstrator,but LOST to a a much greater man and being.
