I just love latin traditionalist sites. If you don't pledge that you love the latin mass, you are labeled " an enemy" and blocked from the site.
Of course we can't forget the SSPX the organization your wonderful leader started. Many Catholic and Lay organizations have labelled it a cult.

I don't consider myself morally or spiritually superior above anyone, although I don't see anything wrong with trying to improve my spiritual life, or my morals. After all, I think I'm shooting for purgatory right now. I've seen a lot of what you are talking about though, believe me.

These are sedevacantists. The SSPX, FSSP, ICKSP, etc., etc., are all traditional orders that do not hold this doctrine, which is false. Vatican II was not evil. Rather, it was what came out of Vatican II that was bad.

Let me qualify my earlier statement. The Novus Ordo Mass, is not inherently a mess. Rather, it is how it is often celebrated that it is made a mess. Unfortunately, the state of affairs today is such that we need this mess to draw closer to God, because that is what people today can relate to, especially since all the chant, etc., was largely thrown out the window four decades ago! This situation will not change for a long time...

Thanks for telling me you've got nothing against me. For a second I thought you were going to say I was damned. I've got nothing against you, but I think you need to realize that there are exceptions to all the stereotypes you mention. Again, not all traditional-leaning Catholics are bad, although I've certainly met/heard of a decent number of uncharitable ones.

I don't think the SSPX is inherently a cult, but rather, there are members in it who are pushing it in that direction. When you start fighting Rome, you put yourself in a bad spot, and have to be careful about where you step; otherwise you'll fall out of Peter's boat.

We can't do our own thing because most Bishops prohibit us from doing so, and are thus very uncharitable. We don't get free will and choice, while the rest of the church does... That doesn't make much sense, does it?

The tradition of the church has never seen better days since Vatican II. Something tells me you are close-minded... By the way, I used to go to the N.O. for 17 years, but have been attending the Traditional Latin Masses for a while. I don't miss the former, and the latter has caused me to grow in my understanding of the church, holiness, etc., etc. I'm still a spiritual mess, but I'm getting better, albeit very slowly.

Thanks for responding. I have learned four things since first hearing from you. 1. You are not Catholic, or at least a very bitter one 2. You are not willing to listen to reason. 3. You are not willing/or able to rationalize or grapple with my points, since you are not responding to my answers to your concerns. 4. Your one video subscription includes a feed that had a video montage of a a formerly well-known Playboy playmate, not to mention other disturbing content.

By the way, hardly anything I learned about the beautiful tradition, liturgy, doctrine, etc. of the Catholic Church came from the SSPX. A lot of it came from meeting caring and charitable individuals in diocesan parishes.
