Indeed the Bible talks about the SPIRIT of Christ who dwells within you. We continually refer to Jesus as the PHYSICAL aspect of God. How cana physical being dwell within a physical being? If Jesus and the Father are one, would not The Spirit also be one with them?
Let's not throw accusations around though, maybe we should just say "Actually, I don't know that answer to that... but praise God, one day I will."

This is one possible version of the story. Howbeit, the common tune used for Amazing Grace wasn't written when Newton penned the song. We have to be carefull to distinguish between what is TRUTH and what we THINK is truth. Particularly if we're going to present it as a God thing.
