According to Wikipedia, Leonard Nimoy actually directed this video as well as making the cameo. It also said his son Adam Nimoy was a friend of Susanna Hoffs from college.

I'm speaking as soneone who has no opinion on the Bangles at all - I'm just watching this as a Leonard Nimoy fan and will object to the comments and lack of knowledge displayed by some as you guys probably would if Suzanna Hoffs was being dissed by a load of Star Trek fans! |

| I have to respond as seemingly the only Nimoy rather than Bangles fan watching this! They didn't 'put' him in their video - he was when this was shot a highly successful actor/writer/producer/director etc, etc - and still is. The reason he is in this video (and directed it) is that his son went to school with one of the girls and asked him to do it... |
