şadası is a resort town on the Aegean coast of Turkey, near the ancient city of Ephesus, 90 km south of İzmir and a short distance across from the island of Samos. It is extremely popular as a tourist destination, both for its many beaches, and as the port for cruise ship passengers heading to E
phesus. Kusadasi has a residential population of 50,000 which rises to over half a million during the summer due to local and foreign tourists. Ephesus, was one of the great cities of the Ionian Greeks in Anatolia, located in Lydia where the Cayster River (Küçük Menderes) flows into the Aegean Se
a (in modern day Turkey). It was founded by colonists principally from Athens. The ruins of Ephesus are favourite for domestic and international tourism attractions, due to easy accesibility via İzmir ADB airport and via the port of Kuşadası.

It is a stunning city - the only problem are some of the locals. I went there last year & some nasty bastard came into my hotel room - as I slept - & stole all my cash. Travelling from the other side of the world, it is an awful thing to experience. They also burgled 5 other rooms that same night. And all the police did was laugh. At least the cops are the same all over the world. Be careful of travelling in Turkey.
