Video Description:
This video is concentrating to the attacking performances of two legends of the european basketball,Drazen Petrovic and Nikos Galis,in the semi-final game for the european basketball championships,back in 1987!Nick usually outscored Drazen when they played against each other(Drazen had allways more options to pass the ball),but Greece rarely won against Yugoslavia.This is one of those rare games! Greece won 81-77 and progressed to the final of the eurobasket of 1987. Galis scored 30 points while Petrovic scored 22! Greece had wonderusly managed to beat Yugoslavia again in the preliminary round of the same tournament,while Galis scored 44 points and Drazen 18!The two legends had a very good relationship.Once,when Drazen Petrovic was asked if he would like to play with Nick Galis in the same team,he responded:"Yeah,I'd like to play with him.I'd like to PASS the ball to him and let HIM score!ENJOY!(The baskets are presented in the order they were made in the game by the two stars).

It's meaningless trying to say who the best is since Michael Jordan is the best ever. What yoy may not know is that in '93 Nick was in Panathinaikos and Drazen was moving there.He was offered a blank check contract.Unfortunately,he was killed in a tragic car accident on his way.Imagine the glorious bb moments we all missed.We're so UNLUCKY not to see this unique duet.Drazen had said:"I want to be a co-player of Galis.Passing assists to him and score".If only he had lived...God rest his soul

I found Nick Gallis' old Bball coach at SETON HALL, BILL RAFTERY (CBS College Basketball Analyst) in a bar before a UCONN/GEORGETOWN Game and we talked 2 hrs about Nick I dont give a shit about JORDAN he had all the refs in his pocket, he would take 5 steps on a dunk, frequently CARRY the ball,PHANTOM calls made for him NICK IS THE GOD OF BBALL IN EUROPE

nobody is better than Michael Jordan period! Gallis was very good, but then why didn't he play in the NBA? besides NBA is different than Euro basketball, so each one was good at their domain.

that's because Greeks can't admit someone is better than them, its the jealousy inside them,nor Yugoslavians admit someone else is better. Its the stuborness of the whole region each one is extremely patriotic, and that's why the region has always been in turmoil.

lol. My friends there are players that you not even heard about them. You can not compare the players because each one has different style. There are were SPECIAL players and from the finest ever. My oppinion is that Galis was one of the most amaizing players in europe ever and he could easily make carrier in NBA. Now about Petrovic i can say that he has also a special place in europian basket as one of the greatest players.

I see that you are trying to compare Michael Jordan with Galis.Jordan showed what he can do in NBA but for Nick this opportunity was lost.We can never be sure what he could do in NBA but as far i saw Nick was going to be if not the best one of the best.Something else why you are saying that Jordan is the best?My oppinion Magic Johnson is far more amaizing player than Jordan.He can hide the ball when he have it and give pass with his eyes closed.He is the best player who played in NBA ever!

Petrovic was better than Galis. Galis is a legend just like Epi in spain. But the greatest player of all time is PEtrovic and I am not a croatian I am a spanish.
