手洗い for toilet is kind of strange to me. Why not just use トイレ? And yes, it would be どこですか. Not どちらですか. So: トイレはどこですか or トイレは、どこにありますか would be much better for "Where is the toilet?"
お手洗い for toilet is more appropriate word when you ask people where the lavatory is.
