| I don't get why 80s metal gets such a bad rep nowadays. Musically it kills modern stuff. What modern band has driving double bass drum beats, wide vocal ranges, 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies, and musicians on the level of a Vito Bratta? And don't forget the great stage presence of most of these acts. People make fun of bands like this now, but musically this kills anything on the radio today (and White Lion wasn't even amongst the best of the "hair bands") |

| In my day white lion was the greatest or one of promoted bands,in my years of heavy metal. but, I had never seen the original band live. they were to big and the shows sold out in minutes. Mike tramp needs to focus on harmonies and not the mighty dollar. try to get Paul gilbert from Mr.Big, Vito don't return mikes calls>>> |

| You got that shit right. Too many hacks like Avenged Sevenfold. Have you heard that song Bat Country. The only good part of that song is the Chorus. The rest is a combo of silly and bad. BTW one of the best solos in the history of solos is Little Fighter. |

| I am young but I know what is good and what is shit. Yes 70s were also great, probably the best. 60s are great also but more in a way that people knew how to have a good time(better than youth these days) music is good but to soft for my taste.Cheers! |

| good point alot of music today practically all has lost originality. i hate it how some metal heads are anti hair metal too. not saying that they need to like it. but come people like for the music it is. im sure there is a group of people out there that hate death metal just as much as death metal fans dislike hair metal. i for one have learned not to give a shit about who or what is making the music and just listen to it. music back in the 80's was far more complex |
