There are a number of flaws this designer is either failing to see, or is ignoring.
One is that four beams of light will not interact with space, they will simply exist through it. Arrangint them in a spiral pattern will not create a spiral effect in space. And if they managed to create a spacial vortex utilizing light, then another ignored factor is that light will not act as a barrier to the particle within, the particle will simply break free of the wall. Among other bugs. Would be nice tho

And homargc; this altering of their timeline by giving us information that we would not have otherwise gathered for years and years, is based entirely on theory, noone knows, and can not possibly know what would happen, because it is not known whether changing the past will alter your timeline or just create an an alternate timeline. It is also possible that part of their timeline WAS that they recieved information from their future... consider the posibilities.

It would be nice if one could consider the possibility of "alternate" worlds and timelines,but they do not exist,I'm afraid. There is one flaw of energy and time,and one universe of matter and anti-matter,only. Now,if Pf.Miller happened to have come from 500 years into the future to invent in our present the time machine that allowed him to travel back to us in the first place,this would be absolutely impossible since one fact would automatically cancel the other;as his timeline wouldn't exist.

But he does not come from the future. And we are trying to use logical reasoning. What he seems to believe he will accomplish,is that;by creating a "tube" made of laser beams, he will force particles to travel through it at the speed of light in a vortex-like motion. Particles wouldn't break free from it any more easily than feathers would break free from heavy gusts of wind. The utilisation of light for this purposes is also being pioneered by the Large Hadron Collider,and is at least a start.

The consiquences of time travel would have to be controlled. Imagine if some fool got there hands on it. They could stop things from happening and or god forbid cause things to happen. It would simply be to dangerous to have. I wouldn't trust anyone with my future and my families future just like they wouldn't trust me with theres and would do anything to stop them from medaling with it. I see wars started because of such a device.

Alright well, here's the basics. Sending physical objects into the past is impossible. To even go to the speed of light, you'd have to have no mass, Like light for example. Light can travel at that speed. The theory is: If a person can travel to the speed of light, you can stop time. What would happen if you went FASTER than the speed of light? You could reverse time itself. The circle of light does this, it speeds up the light particle and dissapears because it's going back in time.

if you go fast enough its believed that you would disappear and eventually go back in time, kind of how you hear that if you look at star, youre seeing how the star looked some years ago because its so far and it takes quite some time for the light fo the star to reach us on earth

Yes but men don't travel at the speed of light...(hm!?hmm!?) If we were able to travel faster than what we are accustomed we'd think we were traveling through time, which in actuality is not true we'd just be moving faster than time as man knows it. Given the particles around us are still slow. I doubt as a human we'd even survive that type of speed condition. We'd probably implode

What would happen if you moved at the speed of light, AGAINST light waves? And what would happen if you moved at the speed of light WITH light waves?
Would there be any difference? Wouldn't one destroy your human atoms faster, or one not destroy your human atoms and not cause you to age? If so, could one live forever without damage from light wave particles? Is this the theory? If so, direction is important also right?

nikola tesla sent energy faster than light, he proved this by sending energy through the earth at its resonant frequency. to make the waves contain equal energy they would have to travel faster than light because the waves returned 1.5 times faster than light so thus faster than light energy and data transfer was found when tesla used a specialized coil 100 yrs ago! this same system was going to be used for a world internet and industrial power system. look up wardenclyffe tower!!!
