| I think they should make a new Total war game based on Persian wars and also the rise of Macedonia.Have seperate scenarios like medieval total war kingdoms. Where the game begins with Darius invasion of Ionia, Then Xerxes invasion of mainland Greece, Then the rise of Philipos and Alexandros. |

| Pyrrhus was from Albania and was never truly ruler of Macedon. His "victorys" didnt effect Macedonia. And the term "Pyrrhic Victory" was earned by him during his Italian campaign against the Romans, not against Spartans... |

| The Spartans lost their reputation at the Battle of Leuctra when Parmenion and Epaminondas were outnumbered by Spartan soldiers and won. That is how Sparta fell out of power. It's sad that most people only know about the Spartans from the movie 300. If they made a movie about the Sacred Band people would love them too. Then when they finally made a movie when Alexander destroyed Thebes guess who they'd love then? |

| They lost their reputation yes but not their skills, but the real Sparta as we all know it died at Sellasia, a heroic death I must say. Even though the Spartans didn't fought as Hoplites. And I'm not sure if a movie about the Sacred Band would be well recieved, considering they were gay. Though it could be received well on a certain way :), 300 but then with 300 gays :). Though at Leuctra the Thebans won with superior strategy, not with having better soldiers. |

| Just to let you know, most Greeks were gay back then because it was something completely acceptable. Besides, Americans are very easy to brainwash. Like I said, if they made a movie about the Sacred Band people would have loved them. If they had another movie which showed Alexander destroyed Thebes, people would have loved the Macedonians. I'm just saying if you make a movie about any particular type of soldier kicking ass like 300 did people will love those certain people. |

| I highly doubt that it were "most" Greeks. Probably more then in totays world but I don't think the majority would be gay :/. And they would make a movie about the Sacred Band, then it depends on how the make it. And once they love the Sacred Band then they will probably be pissed to see Alexander kill them and later destroy Thebes :). And then people can see that Alexander isn't that rightous hero everyone thinks he is :P. |
