| There are a lot of fallacies, for one the Throwing Star was used to stun an enemy and not to kill them. The throwing force necessary to kill with a Star is more then a person could generate. Secondly, the gi was not black as black would cast a reflection. They were usually a dark grey or charcoal colour. |

| I agree same for Chinese martial arts. A lot of secret techniques are gone. But its not just technology fault. Humans are at fault as well. Masters of fighting who teaches these secret techniques in the past never passed it on to others or none the less secret martial art books were burned mainly because of change in society and because secret techniques are only passed on to family members and no outsiders. It is mainly this cause that many secrets are lost. |

| People see ninjas always in black is because many refer ninjas as assassins. Which is not literally true, ninjas do a lot more than just killing. Ninjas are more like today's spec ops such as reconnaissance, killing, stealing, transporting documents from one master to another and so forth. Ninjas wore many colored clothing such as blue, red, black. The white man commenting on ninjas apparently doesnt know much about eastern history. |

| Apparently your wrong. Ninjas are spec ops they dont need enemy to detect them. Isnt that the reason why they are called Ninjas because they are stealthy. If Ninjas wore disguise, there is no point in jumping on roofs, using grapple hooks. And Ninjas dont use katana's they use a shorter versions of katana -> i think its called a shinai |

| yuna238 you are incorrect. shinobi no mono(ninja) did use disguises and katanas called ninjato/ninjaken short, often straight sword which had many different uses. apparently you must also be brainwashed, you have insuffienct knowledge of ninjutsu. also a shinai is a split bamboo wooden sword used for practice mostly in kendo. I've study under hatsumi sensei in japan for years. he's 34th soke (grandmaster) of togakure-ryu. I suggest you read one his books start with the "essence of ninjutsu" |

| apparently your all wrong,a shinai is a bamboo kendo training sword, the ninja used katana, they did not use a straight bladed sword, they used any sword they could get hold of. also the tsuba (hand guard) waz not square shaped, this is all mythical crap. the ninja were samurai that worked for there master (daimyo), hollywood is not historically correct |
