Again, I don't know much about this movie, but I believe that this is a center in which women can learn domestic skills. I understand that it is still in existence, even today.
It is amazing that they teach these young girls and woman all of the necessary skills to become functioning and thriving Cretan women when they are released from this institution. Among the many skills they learn, they manage to learn how to make fabric material and clothes. If you know anythi
