Video Description:
Captain Elias and I take you around this beautiful Cycladitic island mainly known for its Venus. This is the second part of the excursion, from the Vani bay and Antimilos (or Erimomilos) islet to the Sykia cave. With breath taking landscapes in the background we highlight the social, economic and natural history of the island, within its East Mediterranean context, with special references to the pre-history, shipping tradition, piracy, literature, geology and mining economy as well as to the critically endangered monk seal species Monachus monachus.
